Warranty Information for BONAVENTURA products
ZENDO Limited and its affiliates (ZENDO) warrants that its product listed below will be free from defects in workmanship and materials under normal use for the period listed as the limited warranty period.
This limited warranty is non-transferable and covers only the original end purchaser. An original or copy of a sales receipt from the original ZENDO authorized retailer is required for warranty service. This limited warranty does not cover products purchased from unauthorized retailers (including online third party sellers who sell on auction sites). Online sales auction confirmations are NOT accepted for warranty verification.
Our warranty insures that the product, through normal/expected use, can be expected to function as intended for the duration of the warranty period. The warranty does not cover wear and tear, misuse or accidental damage. If one of these non-warranty scenarios occurs, please contact us to receive a quote for non-warranty repairs. At the discretion of ZENDO, a fee may be incurred to the customer to repair the merchandise if the warranty claims does not fall within the timeframe of the warranty period.
Our leather, as with all natural materials, will occasionally have unique characteristics such as: small scars, creases and variations in the color and are not considered defects. Validated warranty repairs are repaired or replaced at no charge.
Definition of Warranty Periods
- 3-Month Limited Warranty: 90 days from original date of purchase
- 6-Month Limited Warranty: 180 days from original date of purchase
- 1-Year Limited Warranty: 1 year from original date of purchase
- Lifetime Limited Warranty: Lifetime of product
Lifetime Warranty does not insure that the product will perform for the lifetime of the buyer, but for the lifetime of the product. Lifetime of the product can be defined as the length of time that a product, through normal/expected use, can be expected to function as intended. For accessories that are intended to use with a 3rd party device, the lifetime warranty period should cover the lifetime of the 3rd party device.

Some products may be eligible for a warranty extension if the product is registered using this online form within a certain timeframe following the date of purchase. Please refer to instructions on the product's warranty card or packaging.
The following parts are not covered by our warranty extensions:
- Fabric and Linings
- Velcro or Elastic
- Nylon zippers
How to make a warranty claim
Warranty claims must be made directly to ZENDO/BONAVENTURA. For customer assistance please contact us using this form. Please do not send your product directly to us without first contacting customer service.
Once we receive your product, we will evaluate your claim (typically within 7-10 business days) to determine whether the returned product is covered by the applicable limited warranty:
- Every request is reviewed and assessed on a case-by case basis.
- Proof of purchase is required for warranty validation and service.
ZENDO is not liable for Products that are damaged or lost in transit to ZENDO. We recommend that you ship your returned products to us via a trackable shipment method. You are responsible for customs fees, including, but not limited to, taxes, duties and brokerage.
We reserve the right to return dirty or soiled items that may cause a health or safety risk to our team or equipment.
We reserve the right to send “Do-it-Yourself” repair kits for certain repairs or manufacture defects. These kits will be sent with complete repair parts and instructions.
All Products returned to ZENDO will be subject to review for authenticity. Products determined to be counterfeit will be confiscated and turned over to ZENDO's legal department for action. Counterfeit products will not be returned and consumers should seek restitution from their original place of purchase.
Exclusions and Limitations
Any warranty claims associated with the below list are not considered materials or manufacturing defects and are not covered within our warranty policies. At the discretion of ZENDO, a fee may be incurred to the customer to repair:
User wear and tear from normal use such as:
- Worn edges or corners from daily use
- Natural fading and softening of materials
- Stains, spots and spills
- Stretching from wear/use
- Damage to finishes or seams from friction/rubbing
- Improper conditioning and cleaning
- Linings that are ripped, stained or worn from normal use.
Misuse, neglect, or accidental damage such as:
- Use of excessive force against the product
- Rips or scratches
- Harsh chemicals, cleaners or other fluids
- Exposition to extreme cold or heat
- Animal, fire or weather damage
- Natural disasters
- Airline or third party damage or mishandling
- Third party alterations or repair work by unauthorized third parties
- Theft, loss or intentional damage.
ZENDO does not assume any responsibility for loss or damage incurred during shipping, nor does it take any responsibility for third party products (i.e. ZENDO will not reimburse damages caused to devices used together with ZENDO products).
Any warranty claims associated with the below list of merchandise categories do not fall within our warranty policies. At the discretion of ZENDO, a fee may be incurred to the customer to repair:
- Promotional, sample or assorted sale merchandise.
- Merchandise purchased through discount retailers or manufacturer outlets.
- Merchandise not manufactured by ZENDO or our approved manufacturing partners.
Limitation of Liability
In no event shall ZENDO or its authorized suppliers be liable to you or any third party for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special or exemplary damages arising out of the use of the Product, including, without limitation, property damage, loss of value of the Product or any third party products that are used in or with the Product, or loss of use of the Product or any third party products that are used in or with the Product, even if ZENDO has been advised of the possibility of such damages. ZENDO has no liability for any damage or destruction to consumer electronics devices or other personal property that are in the Products, including, without limitation, laptops, cell phones, smartphones, tablets, MP3 players, DVD players or handheld devices, or any loss of data contained in the foregoing devices.
Notwithstanding any damages that you might incur for any reason whatsoever (including, without limitation, all damages referenced herein and all direct or general damages in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise), the entire liability of ZENDO and any of its authorized suppliers shall be limited to the amount actually paid by you for the Product. Some states and/or jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.
